Do I need prior AR-15 experience?

No. This beginner AR-15 class is designed for new rifle owners and first-time shooters, covering safety, operation, and live-fire fundamentals from the ground up.

You’ll learn AR-15 safety, rifle handling, loading and operation, major components, and supervised live-fire fundamentals.

The Intro to AR-15 class is a 3-hour beginner course combining classroom instruction and live-fire training.

No live ammunition is allowed in the classroom. Firearms brought to class must be unloaded and cased. Students must follow all instructor safety commands during classroom and live-fire training.

No. You do not need to own an AR-15 to take this class. Rental rifles are available, giving you a chance to learn and build confidence before choosing a rifle of your own.

Yes. The class includes supervised live fire on the indoor range.

Bring your AR-15 if you have one, along with two magazines and 60 rounds of factory brass-cased ammunition. Rental rifles may be available if needed.  Eye and ear protection are required for the live-fire portion and are provided.
