No. Sound of Freedom is open to the public, and shooters may use the range without a membership by purchasing a Daily Range Pass. Memberships are optional and intended for those who shoot regularly.
A membership is a good fit for shooters who visit the range often. Members do not pay hourly range fees and receive built-in savings on ammunition, targets, rentals, and classes. Over time, a membership can reduce overall shooting costs and simplify each visit.
Members do not pay hourly range fees during open range hours. If the range is busy and a waiting list is in effect, shooting time may be limited to one hour so everyone has fair access.
